This InvestAnswers Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Service explains our practices regarding our collection, use, and disclosure of information about you or other individuals, or information that could identify you or other individuals, through our website, store, or related services and communications (collectively, the “Website”). Account Information
We collect Personal Information when you create an account or make purchases. You will need to provide us with your email address or agree to communicate the same by accessing your purchase details using an authorized third-party website.

Purchase Information
When you buy one of our products through the Website, we will collect your billing address to fulfill your order. We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide webhosting and payment services to us. As you go through checkout, the Website may auto-complete your billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience. To complete your purchase, you will need to provide either a credit card or debit card. If you reside outside the United States, your consent to this Privacy Policy is an “opt-in” to your payment information being communicated in a secure manner to trusted payment processors outside of your home country for the sole purpose of processing payment for the products you order from the Website. 

Browsing Information
The Website collects personal data to power our site analytics, including information about your browser, network, and device, web pages you visited prior to coming to our Website, web pages you view while on this website, your browser, operating system, and your IP address and geographic location. This information may also include details about your use of our Website, including clicks, internal links, pages visited, scrolling, searches, and timestamps. We share this information with Squarespace, our website analytics provider, to learn about site traffic and activity. Squarespace needs the data to run the Website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. Squarespace analyzes the data in aggregated, de-identified form.

Cookies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies, which are small files or pieces of text that download to a computer or device when a visitor accesses a website or app. These functional and required cookies are always used, which allow Squarespace, our hosting platform, to securely serve the Website to you. These analytics and performance cookies are used on our Website to view site traffic, activity, and other data.

Contact Form and Email Submissions
When you submit information to our Website via webform or email, we collect the data requested in the webform or email in order to track and respond to your submissions. We may share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us. We also share this information with one or more data storage providers, data porting providers, and other technology providers, vendors, and consultants.

Right of Access, Rectification, Erasure, and Restriction
In accordance with applicable law, you may have the right to: (i) request confirmation of whether we are processing your Personal Information; (ii) obtain access to or a copy of your Personal Information; (iii) receive an electronic copy of Personal Information that you have provided to us, or ask us to send that information to another company (the “right of data portability”); (iv) restrict our uses of your Personal Information; (v) seek correction or amendment of inaccurate, untrue, incomplete, or improperly processed Personal Information; and (vi) request erasure of Personal Information held about you by InvestAnswers, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law; and (vii) withdraw your consent you have provided to our use of your Personal Information. Where you withdraw your consent, we will stop using your data for the specific purpose, unless we have an alternative legal basis to use it.

Right to Object
In accordance with applicable law, where we are processing your Personal Information on the basis of our legitimate interests, you can ask us to stop processing it and we must do so unless we believe that we have an overriding legitimate reason to continue processing it or the processing is needed for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

We will process such requests in accordance with applicable laws. To protect your privacy, where necessary, InvestAnswers will take steps to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. To submit a request to access or delete your personal information, you may also contact us to make any requests related to your personal information. 

California Privacy Notices
California law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their Personal Information (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of Personal Information disclosed to those parties. Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, InvestAnswers does not share Personal Information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

InvestAnswers does not sell personal information about its customers who reside in California or in any other jurisdiction. 
In addition, if you are a California resident under 18 years old and a customer of the Website, you can request that we remove content that you have submitted to our Website. Please note that responding to your request may not ensure complete or comprehensive removal from the Website. To request removal of information, please contact us. When your account is deleted, we may continue to store some Personal Information in archives, backups, and for our legitimate purposes as described in and consistent with this Privacy Policy, subject to applicable privacy laws, and as otherwise required to meet our legal obligations.

Nevada Privacy Notices
Under Nevada’s Security and Privacy of Personal Information Act (the Nevada Privacy Law), Nevada residents who provide Nevada Personal Information when seeking or acquiring products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request that we do not sell their Nevada Personal Information.   

For purposes of Nevada’s Privacy Law and this Privacy Policy, Nevada Personal Information means a Nevada resident’s:  (1) first and last name; (2) home or other physical address that includes the name of a street and the name of a city or town; (3) email address; (4) telephone number; (5) social security number; (6) an identifier that allows You to be contacted either physically or online; and (7) any other information concerning You with an identifier in a form that makes the information personally identifiable.

Nevada residents may instruct us not to sell their Nevada Personal Information at any time.  You may submit a request to opt out by clicking Do Not Sell My Personal Information.  In the request, please specify that you are a Nevada resident and which right or rights you are seeking to exercise, along with the scope of the request.  We will confirm receipt of your request within 60 days and may require specific information from you to help us verify your identity and process your request.  If we are unable to verify your identity, we may deny your request.  If we deny your request, we will explain the reason for our denial in our response.

Children
In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR, and UK Data Protection Act, we do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old, and do not accept users under the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside.  If we become aware that we have inadvertently received Personal Information from a child, we will delete such information from our records.

Do Not Track Requests
Our Website does not respond to any do not track setting on your browser or device.

Our Website may contain links to other websites. A link to a third party’s website does not mean that we endorse it or that we are affiliated with it. We do not exercise control over third-party websites. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not cover information that you submit on other websites, even if we communicate with you on those sites. You access such third-party websites or content at your own risk. For example, if you share or post something on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, the information in your post is governed by the privacy policies on those websites, and may be used for platform optimization and reporting to InvestAnswers.
